The matching meal plan has been provided to you as a guide to follow in the purchased section of our program. There are two versions of the meal plan provided. We have unlocked the nutrition program from The PurgeThe Grocery ItemsThe Food LabelsThe Beverages, The Food Lists: Free FoodsStarchesProteinsVegetablesFruitsDairyFats, and The Nutrition Glossary  of Terms. Therefore by doing this we give you a head start to getting results.

We use 2 variations of the plans for each day of the week. (“Meal Plan A” or “Meal Plan B”)

In other words, both versions meet your calorie needs. The plans differ in how the nutrients get dispersed throughout the day.  This is to maximize the variety in your food choices. You will find Menu Examples for both (Meal Plan A and Meal Plan B).

You’ll note there is no meal plan for Sunday.  You have one “free day”; feel free to use it another day if necessary, but be sure to follow your plan 6 days/week.  On your free day, above all remember moderation is still KEY!  Don’t undo all your hard work!

DIYFIT Nutritional Program Simplicity

In the DIYFIT Nutrition Program it is important to eat every 3-4 hours if possible.  This will help to stabilize blood sugar and minimize cravings.  In addition, it’s important to stick to your meal plan. Eat the allotted servings from each food group as it is indicated.  

This ensures you are receiving the right balance of nutrients at just the right time, which again, helps to stabilize blood sugar.

It may feel like you’re eating all the time, but remember, this is a portion-controlled, calorie-controlled plan…designed just for you! Plus, who doesn’t like to feel like they’re eating all the time? In contrary if you don’t eat regularly, your metabolism will not increase and actually can slow down. Therefore, the program is eat regularly, portion controlled, the right foods and you will lose weight!   

The meal plan, indicates the number of options to be selected from each of the Food Lists at each meal.  See Food Lists for serving size and options to choose.

DIYFIT Nutrition Program "My Journal"

On your nutrition program you will find a section titled “My Journal”.  In this section you will indicate everything you ate and drank that day along with the time it was eaten and in what amount.  Please be as specific as possible; this is key to your success! 

Refer to the lay out and details provided in “Meal Plan A Examples” and “Meal Plan B Examples” for guidance on how to complete your journal.

As mentioned, Food Lists are included. In other words Food Lists will explain the best options from each food group, as well as the amount (or serving size) for each option. 

Take some time to review the lists and familiarize yourself with serving sizes before you get started.  

It is often helpful to use measuring cups and spoons, scales, etc. in the beginning to get a feel for actual serving sizes.

DIYFIT Nutrition Program Supplements/Vitamins/Minerals

When following a balanced and varied nutrition program, you will be receiving the nutrients your body needs. As a general recommendation, a multivitamin is an excellent “insurance policy.” If your diet isn’t as varied as it needs to be for a day or several days, a multivitamin will help fill in any gaps that may be present.

Mega-dosing on vitamins or minerals is generally not recommended, and in most cases, not necessary. Aside from being expensive, some vitamins and minerals can become toxic in the body when taken in high doses over time.
